We started a new tradition this year for birthday's-
We have been taking each of the kids on a special date with just mom and dad.
We eat at a fancy restaurant and talk.
Daddy asked the waiter if he he could do something special for Naomi since it was her birthday.
He said, "Just a minute- I'll be right back!"
Boy did that waiter have something special! He performed an amazing magic trick just for Naomi plus brought her this ice cream sundae!
She said, "I'm having so much my knees are shaking!"
Naomi makes her parents life so much easier by writing down exactly what she wants for her birthday.
Naomi and I are trying to spend extra one-on-one time together. She likes to put on her skates while I walk her around the neighborhood on her Rollerblades.

What a terrific idea to do the date. and we love the list, makes you smile and breaks your heart at the same time.
Where is her cheesecake? Heck, where is my cheesecake?
